City parks and amenities are now closed, walkthroughs permitted only
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all city park facilities and park equipment are now closed until June 30, 2020. Only walkthroughs are permitted – while respecting physical distancing.
Walking through a park to reach your destination or for exercise is permitted provided you do not linger or gather with others, play or undertake any other activity.
Sports fields and courts
The amenities and spaces that are closed for use include:
- Public sports fields – including those located at recreation facilities
- Ball diamonds
- Basketball and tennis courts
These types of spaces and amenities encourage group gatherings and usage, which go against the physical distancing measures being used to flatten the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Step 1: Register with Ontario Football Alliance
- Player MUST register on line with the Ontario Football Association (OFA) and receive an
OFA number for 2020. (Direct payment fee of $54. to OFA)
Step 2: Register with NCAFA
- Player MUST register on line with National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA)
NOTE:
- The OFA and NCAFA online registrations are mandatory prior to the registration with the Bel-Air Football Club
- 2020 OFA numbers obtained for Sooners or OVFL are valid. DO NOT REAPPLY
- Email changes after 2019 registration will require the player to call the OFA
Step 3: Register with Bel-Air Lions / Bel-Air Norsemen Football
- Player registers with Bel-Air Football by providing the OFA number and completing the Registration, Medical and Code of Conduct Forms.

Additional Information
Practices for tackle football start in July and games are played From August to October.
Mite thru Bantams practices – John smith field @ Raven park – 1500 Larose Ave, Ottawa, ON
Midget practices – McKellar park – 539 Wavell Avenue, Ottawa, ON
Ages are as of Dec 31st this calendar year.
Note: cash only / all equipment provided.
**there is a $60 non refundable fee for all tackle programs
