Bel-Air Lions spring flag football is open to players born 2007 – 2018
We offer open teams ( open to all genders) as well as girls only teams.
Division offered
Open: Tyke OU10, Mosquito OU12, Peewee OU14, Bantam OU16, Varsity OU19
Girls: Mosquito GU12, Peewee GU14, Bantam GU16, Varsity GU20
- OU10 (2017,2018)
- OU12 and GU12 (2015, 2016)
- OU14 and GU14 (2013, 2014)
- OU16 and GU16 (2011, 2012)
- OU19 (2008-2010)
- GU20 (2007-2010)
The season will begin mid May – Practices will take place at John Smith field @ Raven park – 1500 Larose Ave, Ottawa, ON
There will be four to six practices leading up to the first game, the weekend of May 23th, 2026. The final weekend is June 20 – 21st, 2026.
Following the first game, there will be one to two practices per week and will be held on weeknights between 6:00 pm – 8:25 pm.
Games will be played throughout the city.
- Boys/Open (OU10-OU14) is open to girls and games will be played on Saturdays
- Boys/Open (OU16-OU19) is open to girls and games will be played on Sundays
- All girls divisions will be played on Sundays
- Mouth guards are mandatory.
- Black or dark coloured shorts without pockets are mandatory.
- Cleats are strongly recommended.
- Jerseys and flags will be provided.
- Games are 5v5
- Teams sizes will be 10-12 players.
The Bel-Air Flag Football registration fees are $150. The Football Ontario/Football Canada 2026 Membership Registration ($22.50) will be paid online at the end of the registration process.
