Helmet Modifications

The club recognizes soft shell pads as an optional piece of protective equipment designed to reduce impact forces during football practices. Soft shell pads, such as Guardian Caps are intended to be used as a supplement to approved helmets and do not replace certified equipment standards.

We follow the Football Canada guidelines and policies regarding the use of Guardian Caps and approved helmet attachments.

Guardian Caps are optional for athletes. Any player who wishes to wear a Guardian Cap must ensure it is properly fitted and compatible with their helmet and position level of play.

A helmet modification waiver is required prior to use. The waiver outlines equipment use, limitations, and assumption of risk, and must be reviewed and completed before participation.
